The HMR Billet High Flow Oil Regulator & Pressure Relief Valve Assembly has been engineered specifically for high-performance rotary engine applications where stable oil control and reliability are critical.
Designed to maintain consistent oil pressure across a wide operating temperature range, substantial development has gone into reducing excessive cold-start oil pressure while still maintaining proper oil control at operating temperatures exceeding 140°C. This helps significantly reduce the risk of oil cooler and oil system component failure caused by extreme pressure spikes during cold starts.
In addition to improved pressure management, the internal design greatly reduces oil aeration and foaming by approximately 80–90%, helping provide more stable oil supply and improved bearing endurance under high RPM and sustained load conditions.
The regulator features a 100psi base pressure setting, with adjustable shimming capability allowing tuners and engine builders to fine-tune oil pressure to suit their application.
